Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) tanker

Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) tanker is a special vehicle specially designed for the transport of liquefied petroleum gas, the design and manufacture of which need to comply with stringent safety standards to ensure the stability of the flammable and explosive media during transport.

Tank body:

Material: usually high-strength steel (e.g. 16MnR) or low-temperature steel, resistant to high pressure (design pressure usually 1.8-2.2MPa) and corrosion-resistant.
Structure: Cylindrical horizontal tank with hemispherical heads at both ends, possibly with internal wave protection plates to reduce liquid shaking.
Insulation: part of the tank is covered with an insulating layer (e.g. polyurethane foam) to prevent pressure rise in high temperature environments.

Safety accessories:

Safety valve: automatic pressure relief in case of overpressure.
Emergency cut-off device: quickly isolate the pipeline in case of accident.
Liquid level meter/pressure gauge: real-time monitoring of the status of the tank.
Static conductive device: prevent static electricity from accumulating and causing sparks.
